Evaluation

An individual assessment to establish a set of clear milestones for progress will be provided via pre and post program implementation. The schools will pre-determine an individual or group pre and post-test based upon effectiveness and length of school year.

The most commonly used method of testing are the testing guidelines established by two governing bodies for physical education: The President’s Council of physical Fitness and The American Alliance for Physical Education, Recreation and Dance.

The physical testing areas as follows: paced full run/walk (measures cardiovascular endurance); sit and reach (measures flexibility); pull-ups (measures upper body strength) and sit-ups (measures abdominal strength).

Educational testing consists of pre-and post question and answer recitations by children and written documentations by youth; graphs, measurements and personal fitness goals.
